Reforming the Welfare System
whiz of the biggest things thats supposed(a) to be helping the Statesns is aboveboard holding them back, its benefit. I chose Welfargon as my report because I began wondering where my taxes went when I got my paycheck, and found out that a nice chunk of it goes to individuals receiving wellbeing. This publication is rattling important to me because it is something I believe is hurting Americans to a greater extent than it is helping them. The United States social welfare system needs to drastically be reformed. There are more negatives than positives when it comes to offbeat. For one, it costs the presidency close to $1-trillion dollars every socio-economic class incisively to manage and conserve up with todays social welfare programs. Secondly, Welfare promotes addiction instead of encouraging citizens to bulge out out of poverty. Lastly, Welfare solely is non fair to some other Americans that do not set about Welfare benefits. The amount of currency it costs ju st to offer Welfare in America is outrageous. It costs the Government or so $1-trillion dollars a year just to have Welfare programs aimless (Gaiser). This number is going to keep rising over the attached 2-3 years due to the increase amount of individuals signing up for Welfare benefits (Levin). Welfare is at once costing more than defensive structure and education (Gaiser), two very important aspects to our country which I believe are more more important than Welfare.\nOne of the major negative aspects of Welfare is the state of mind it creates. Welfare helps diminish material poverty, and at the same conviction it generates what is known as behavioural poverty (Gaiser). According to Welfare policy-makers, behavioral poverty is a state of mind that is created from receiving Welfare benefits. It basically means the licentiousness of work ethic. When people lower receiving money from the government, they begin believe that it is actually a licit source of income. This is why I consider Welfare promotes dependency and not self-dependence.
